Senior Software Developer Role:
As the Senior Software Developer, you'll lead modernization and high-performance development efforts across the company's core software platform. You will play a critical role in evolving existing C++ and C# systems to leverage the latest performance standards and GPU computing techniques
Lead the modernization and refactoring of legacy C++ systems, upgrading to C++20 for scalability, performance, and maintainability
Design, implement, and optimize a high-performance engine for processing and rendering point cloud datasets exceeding 1 billion points
Architect and optimize spatial data structures (Octrees, k-d trees) to accelerate spatial queries and rendering
Build new features and tools for the company's point cloud software suite, from concept through deployment
Apply GPU programming techniques (e.g., Boost.Compute or equivalent) to maximize computational efficiency
Collaborate with a seasoned development team through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practice initiatives
Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, rendering issues, and computational errors to ensure reliability and speed
Senior Software Developer background Profile:
5+ years of professional software development experience
Expert proficiency in modern C++ (C++20)
Strong experience with C# and .NET 4.8 Framework
Hands-on experience with GPU programming (Boost.Compute or similar)
Solid foundation in linear algebra (vectors, matrices, transformations)
Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows
Proven ability to architect complete software solutions independently
Strong knowledge of spatial data structures (Octrees, k-d trees) a plus
