What happens after you submit a hiring request?
A Frontline account manager reviews your request and reaches out during business hours to set up an intake call. That conversation is where the real search begins. You do not need a finished job description to submit the form or take the first call.
From there, the recruiter who works your discipline builds the search, screens candidates, runs skills testing in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, accounting, typing, 10-key, and 50 plus other programs when the role calls for it, and presents the candidates who fit. You interview, choose, and make the offer, and your recruiter stays involved through acceptance.
What should you have ready for the intake call?
- The technical skills and experience the role truly requires
- The reporting structure and the team the hire will join
- The compensation range and any flexibility around it
- Your target start date and why the position is open
- What has set top performers in this role apart at your organization
Which hire types can you request, and what does each cost?
Frontline publishes its fees, which is uncommon in staffing. Here is how each hire type works, with full details on the pricing page.
Direct hire placement
A contingent fee of 20 to 30 percent of the placed professional's first-year base salary, depending on seniority and search complexity, paid only on a successful hire. Every direct hire is covered by the 5-Year Placement Warranty.
Contract and contract-to-hire staffing
An hourly bill rate at a 50 to 85 percent markup that covers the professional's wages, employer payroll taxes, insurance, and Frontline's recruiting margin, with no separate placement fee. Frontline handles payroll and benefits, and contract-to-hire lets you evaluate the fit on the job before making a permanent offer.
C-suite executive search
25 to 35 percent of first-year all-in compensation, run on a contingency or retained basis, for C-suite and senior leadership searches through Frontline's executive search practice.
Fractional executives
Part-time fractional CFOs, controllers, and COOs on flexible monthly terms, typically 2,500 to 25,000 dollars a month depending on the role and hours. You can convert a fractional leader to a full-time hire at any point, and that hire is then covered by the 5-Year Placement Warranty. See the fractional staffing hub for details.
Frontline also offers Engaged Search, a fixed-fee search starting with a 2,500 dollar initial engagement fee, and Candidate Sourcing subscriptions from 999 to 1,600 dollars a month.
How does the 5-Year Placement Warranty protect your hire?
The 5-Year Placement Warranty covers every Frontline direct hire for 1,825 calendar days from the professional's first day, 20 times longer than the 90-day guarantee most staffing agencies offer. If a placed professional departs within five years, Frontline applies a pro-rated credit, calculated on active calendar days, toward a replacement or a future placement. The warranty also includes the Promotion Protection Plan: when you promote a Frontline placement, you can backfill the original position at 50 percent of the original placement fee. It applies at no additional cost, and restrictions apply. Full terms are on the 5-Year Placement Warranty page.
Who will handle your hiring request?
Your request goes to the recruiters who work your discipline, so you are not starting over with a generalist. Here is who leads each area:
- Accounting and finance: Kathy Granger, a Texas CPA formerly with Arthur Andersen and Ernst and Young, with Shelly Hubble, CSP, Senior Vice President of Operations
- Technology, legal, life sciences, and engineering: Cassidy Jacobs, Senior Executive Staffing Specialist
- Human resources, administrative, HSE, and engineering: Lindsey Davidson, CDR, Senior Lead Executive Recruiter
- Revenue cycle and customer service: Jessica Payne, Executive Recruiter
- Grocery, retail, and pharmacy: Mike Cook, known as Grocery Store Mike, with 35 plus years in the grocery industry
- Digital marketing and brand: Brittany Kasko, Digital Marketing Executive Staffing Specialist
- C-suite, energy, and dental leadership: Bill Kasko, Founder, President, and CEO, with Shelly Hubble
Frontline recruits across accounting and finance, technology and IT, human resources, legal, administrative, customer service, engineering, oil, gas, and energy, dental, pharmacy, grocery and retail, revenue cycle, and life sciences. See every service on our services page.
Why use a specialized staffing firm instead of posting the job yourself?
Most hiring now reaches outside the company. SHRM's 2026 recruiting benchmarking data, drawn from more than 4,600 organizations, put the median share of nonexecutive positions filled with external hires at 97 percent, up from 93 percent the year before. When nearly every hire comes from outside, the question is who finds and vets those candidates. A specialized firm brings recruiters who work one discipline every day, skills testing before candidates reach you, published fees, and, at Frontline, a warranty that keeps the firm accountable for five years after the hire.
