IT Director Role:
The IT Director is accountable for steering the organization's IT strategy to align with and drive business objectives on a worldwide scale. This role will lead IT operations across various regions, ensuring seamless service delivery and supporting digital transformation efforts. By collaborating closely with executive leadership, business units, and external partners, the IT Director ensures that the company's IT infrastructure is optimized to meet evolving business needs.
Design and execute a global IT strategy that aligns with organizational goals and growth plans
Guide strategic IT initiatives and digital transformation projects that fuel business expansion
Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure globally, covering network, cloud services, and user support
Ensure systems and services are secure, reliable, and scalable across all regions
Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards to maximize efficiency and uphold compliance with regulatory standards
Lead and mentor a global team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative IT culture
Manage major IT projects, including implementations, system upgrades, and integrations, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery
Plan and oversee the global IT budget, optimizing financial resources and managing IT expenditures
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with IT vendors and service providers
Implement IT risk management practices to protect against data breaches, cybersecurity threats, and other security risks
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and data protection standards
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations
Partner with senior executives and business leaders to understand IT needs and deliver strategic solutions
Effectively communicate IT strategies and outcomes to key stakeholders
Build and sustain strong relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and industry thought leaders
IT Director Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 10+ years in IT management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
Experience working with a publicly traded company required
SAP experience required
Knowledge of Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) principles, policies and procedures required
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IT strategies
Proficient in IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and emerging technology trends
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Track record in managing large-scale IT projects and budgets effectively
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management
Strategic, innovative thinker with a proactive approach to IT challenges
Skilled in navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
