Quality Manager Role:
The Quality Manager oversees the preparation, implementation, and reporting of the quality control program. The Quality Manager is responsible for fully executing the quality control process across the organization. This encompasses, but is not limited to, creating work instructions, setting benchmarks, developing and implementing inspection plans, managing training and quality control methods, and ensuring compliance with ISO Certifications within the Quality program.
Define a quality strategy, ensuring that quality is integrated from the outset.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to Quality Team members.
Perform, maintain, and audit risk assessment templates.
Develop, implement, enforce, and audit all quality policies and procedures.
Develop and implement a vendor audit process.
Develop, implement, and maintain a shipping/receiving policy.
Maintain calibrated tooling, including compliance logs and calibration certificate storage.
Attend kickoff meetings with clients to determine quality requirements based on the scope of work.
Maintain ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 certifications, and perform internal audits for compliance and continuous improvement.
Identify non-conformance trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
Contribute to overall business strategy and the annual budgeting process.
Participate in interviews, induction, training, and performance evaluations of Quality Leads/Managers.
Develop and maintain quality KPIs and present these during quarterly strategic management meetings
Maintain all quality files and conduct regular audits for errors.

Quality Manager Background Profile:
Minimum 1 year of QA/QC Management or Supervisory experience required.
Experience in the Renewable Energy Industry is preferred.
At least 4 years of supervisory experience in construction, preferably in civil, structural, electrical, or power-related fields.
Strong communication skills to ensure effective team collaboration and reporting.
Proficient in computer software, including Outlook Mail/Calendar, Word, Excel, and other Windows-based applications.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain quality records within an established folder structure and efficiently communicate cross-over notes.
Hands-on experience with structural erection, millwright work, and electrical scopes in wind turbine installation.
Self-motivated and able to work with a sense of urgency to meet performance expectations.
Capable of performing effectively under pressure, especially in fast-paced and changing environments with competing demands.
Willingness to travel as needed for fieldwork and site visits.
Knowledge of calibrated tooling, particularly in torque and tension measurement tools.
Adaptable and able to respond to unforeseen challenges and issues in the field.
