Key responsibilities include:
- Support trial preparation from intake to courthouse
- Handle state and federal e-filing
- Prepare attorneys for depositions and schedule depositions, appointments, and meetings
- Conduct case law research and strong internet research
- Draft legal documents and shells for attorney review, including correspondence
- Work with e-discovery personnel to build specific case databases
- Scan data into the document management database and organize case management documents
- Manage calendars and communicate with courts and clients
- Fax, mail, copy, and scan documents
