Corporate Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead retail transformation initiatives by spearheading new store launches, overseeing renovations, and ensuring facility excellence.
  • Manage a skilled team to deliver projects with innovation, precision, and high standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to align project objectives and allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide clear updates to executive leadership on project progress, successes, and challenges.
  • Develop project strategies, oversee bidding processes, and ensure technical details are addressed for successful outcomes.
  • Handle project schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements with flexibility and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project records for audits and accessibility.
  • Identify new site opportunities and support data-driven decisions for expansion and enhancements.
  • Promote collaboration and coordination among cross-functional teams through effective communication.

Corporate Development Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction or facility projects, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software, and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to inspire teams and drive project execution.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, budgeting, and risk management within construction environments.
