Accounts Payable Clerk Role:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
  • Enter data into QuickBooks and maintain organized financial records.
  • Post checks and manage payments in adherence to company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to payables.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to uphold documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and precision in all financial data.

Accounts Payable Clerk Background:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential; experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong data entry and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related accounting tools.
