Assistant Store Manager:

Join an established grocery market as an Assistant Store Manager and help lead a team, deliver customer service, and keep daily store operations running smoothly. You’ll work closely with store leadership to support employees, strengthen store performance, and create a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
Lead and develop the team: Train, motivate, and provide feedback to a team of approximately 30-36 full-time and part-time associates.
 Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily store execution.
Answer questions, resolve concerns, and build lasting customer relationships.
Monitor grocery inventory, deliveries, shelf replenishment, and the freshness of perishable and nonperishable products.
Keep shelves and displays organized, well-stocked, and appealing.
Help drive sales, monitor expenses, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Assist store leadership in working with vendors to maintain product quality and availability.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and reinforce company policies and health and safety requirements.
Support store management with additional responsibilities as needed.

Assistant Store Manager Background Profile:
3 years in a retail grocery supervisory or management role.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Clear communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate, and collaborate with others.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills.
A customer-first mindset and an understanding of how service, merchandising, and teamwork contribute to sales.
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
