Job Description
Our client in Dallas Texas is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a fast-paced, high-volume consumer bankruptcy practice. This is a highly client-facing position for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and can confidently manage cases, hearings, and frequent client meetings.
The attorney will generally assume responsibility for matters around the signing phase and remain involved throughout the case. The practice operates on a flat fee model with no billable-hour requirement, allowing attorneys to focus on effectively managing their caseload and serving clients.

Manage a high-volume bankruptcy caseload from signing through completion
Prepare for and attend bankruptcy hearings and related proceedings
Conduct frequent and sometimes back-to-back client meetings
Advise clients throughout the bankruptcy process and clearly communicate next steps
Manage expectations and navigate challenging client conversations professionally
Move efficiently between hearings, client meetings, case work, and competing priorities
Maintain accurate case management and consistent follow-through
Collaborate with intake and support staff as matters transition to the attorney
Ensure cases continue progressing in a timely and organized manner
Associate Attorney Background Profile
Active Texas law license
Bankruptcy experience required
Experience independently managing a high-volume caseload
Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working extensively with individual/consumer clients
Ability to handle sensitive and sometimes difficult client situations
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy or follow-through
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment
Ideal Fit
This role is best suited for an attorney who enjoys being in front of clients and wants an active practice rather than a primarily research- or document-focused position. The successful candidate will be patient, confident, organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple matters throughout the day.
