Our client in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Trust & Estates Legal Assistant for a Direct Hire opportunity. This is an in-office position.<\/p>\n

* Provide dedicated day-to-day administrative and legal support to one attorney within the Trust & Estates practice<\/p>\n
* Assist with estate planning, probate, and related Trust & Estates matters<\/p>\n
* Prepare, revise, organize, and maintain legal documents and correspondence<\/p>\n
* Coordinate client meetings, document execution, appointments, and matter-related activities<\/p>\n
* Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and follow-up items<\/p>\n
* Communicate professionally with clients regarding scheduling, documents, and administrative matters<\/p>\n
* Maintain organized physical and electronic client files<\/p>\n
* Scan, profile, index, and save documents within the firm's document management systems<\/p>\n
* Assist with the organization, maintenance, and storage of original estate planning documents<\/p>\n
* Maintain accurate records relating to original and executed client documents<\/p>\n
* Prepare correspondence and transmittal materials as needed<\/p>\n
* Handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion<\/p>\n
* Proactively keep matters organized and moving forward<\/p>\n
* Prior law firm or comparable legal experience required<\/p>\n
* Trust & Estates experience required or strong\u00a0Probate experience would be considered<\/p>\n
* Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant experience may be sufficient<\/p>\n
* Candidates do not need to have spent their entire legal career within Trust & Estates if they have meaningful experience supporting the practice area<\/p>\n
* Experience supporting estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, estate administration, or related matters preferred<\/p>\n
* Strong document and file management skills<\/p>\n
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/p>\n
* Experience with legal document management systems preferred<\/p>\n
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/p>\n
* Professional written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and provide proactive support<\/p>\n
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately<\/p>\n
