This is an opportunity to support a multi year, large scale aviation infrastructure program encompassing terminal expansion, airfield improvements, and campus wide upgrades.<br \/>\n<strong>Client Profile<\/strong><br \/>\nOur client is a large, recognized organization specializing in aviation construction and infrastructure. This position will support a major airport development program involving complex terminal, airside, landside, utility, technology, and operational infrastructure.<br \/>\n<strong>Building Information Modeling Coordinator Role<\/strong><br \/>\nThe BIM Coordinator will support multidisciplinary BIM coordination and digital construction activities across a complex aviation infrastructure program.<br \/>\nThis is a hands on technical position responsible for coordinating models, identifying conflicts, maintaining BIM standards, supporting field teams, and ensuring accurate digital project information throughout design and construction.<br \/>\nResponsibilities include:<br \/>\nCoordinate architectural, structural, MEP, civil, utility, technology, and specialty contractor BIM models<br \/>\nPerform clash detection and model coordination utilizing Navisworks Manage<br \/>\nFacilitate or participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and track issues through resolution<br \/>\nReview models for compliance with established BIM Execution Plans and project standards<br \/>\nMaintain federated project models and model coordination workflows<br \/>\nSupport integration of specialized airport systems including baggage handling, passenger boarding bridges, security systems, IT, telecom, and airfield infrastructure<br \/>\nUtilize Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud to support project delivery<br \/>\nCoordinate model information between design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel<br \/>\nSupport LOD 400 and LOD 500 model development and record model requirements<br \/>\nAssist with COBie and asset information requirements for project closeout and facility management<br \/>\nSupport 4D construction sequencing and phasing activities around active airport operations<br \/>\nReview laser scan and point cloud information to compare installed conditions against project models<br \/>\nIdentify coordination issues before they impact field installation or construction schedules<br \/>\n<strong>Background Profile<\/strong><br \/>\nBachelor&#8217;s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, BIM, VDC, or related technical discipline preferred<br \/>\n3+ years of BIM, VDC, design, engineering, or construction technology experience<br \/>\nExperience supporting large, complex construction projects<br \/>\nAviation, airport, transportation, transit, or major infrastructure experience strongly preferred<br \/>\nStrong proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage<br \/>\nExperience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360<br \/>\nCivil 3D experience strongly preferred<br \/>\nHands on experience performing clash detection and multidisciplinary model coordination<br \/>\nUnderstanding of BIM Execution Plans and model standards<br \/>\nFamiliarity with LOD requirements and construction documentation<br \/>\nCOBie or asset data management experience is a plus<br \/>\nGIS, Esri ArcGIS, Dynamo, Python, laser scanning, or point cloud experience is a plus<br \/>\nMust be able to successfully complete required airport security and background screening<br \/>\nValid driver&#8217;s license<br \/>\n<strong>Benefits and Features<\/strong><br \/>\nSalary plus Cost of Living bonus<br \/>\nPTO and Holidays<br \/>\nHealthcare Plans<br \/>\n401k plan<br \/>\nLong term opportunity supporting a major Austin aviation infrastructure program<br \/>\nHighly visible BIM leadership position<br \/>\nExposure to complex terminal, airfield, civil, utility, technology, and specialty aviation systems<br \/>\nOpportunity to influence BIM standards and digital delivery across a major infrastructure project<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":171,"template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Austin, Texas","_application":"applications@staffingfuture.com","_company_name":"Frontline Source Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[7],"class_list":["post-844","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-direct-hire"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.5 (Yoast SEO v28.5) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator Austin Texas<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator Austin Texas - Frontline Source Group hold hundreds of relevant roles across the United States.
