Frontline provides payroll services as required on a weekly basis as specified by you the client for your temps, contractors or temp to hire candidates you have sourced. Services are available when needed. There is no minimum usage required and there is no long term or exclusive contract. There are no maximum funding limits placed on companies although the credit of the company is a factor in providing payroll funding. Credit analysis and a signed formal agreement are required to utilize this service.

1. You found a great candidate on your own, not from an agency, but your company is only allowing you to hire people on as a temporary, contractor or temp to hire.

2. You want to hire a new employee but are not sure if it is the right fit and would like to test the water (try before you buy!).

3. You would like the option to bring someone on board as a temporary or contractor first but do not want to pay the fee to utilize an agency.

4. You have a summer intern and need to set them up as a seasonal temp but HR will not allow you to hire them full time for such a short period of time as an employee.

5. Your company is on a hiring freeze but you CAN get approval for temps, temporary to hire or contractors and need an option.

6. You have a project, have the contractors and need to ensure prompt payment to the people working on site for the project.... Legally per IRS guidelines.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

WHAT DOES FRONTLINE CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE?

Frontline charges a fee based on a mark up of the hourly rate that the company is paying the individual. The mark up ranges between 40 - 45% depending on the volume of business, company credit rating and hourly pay rate for the individual.


WHAT DOES FRONTLINE DO TO EARN ITS FEE?

We provide payroll funding, payroll processing, and invoicing services. We take certain risks and responsibilities involved with becoming the legal employer of the workers. We are responsible for federal, state, and local payroll taxes. We provide and administer workers’ compensation and other insurance. We are responsible for unemployment claims and other workplace issues. We offer a variety of services to the workers and administer a comprehensive benefits program.


WHAT WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CLASSIFICATIONS WILL FRONTLINE ACCEPT?

Frontline has workers’ compensation insurance to cover workers in the 8810 class code – office/clerical and office/professional. This classification covers practically any type of work performed in an office setting, e.g., office support staff, secretaries, engineers, finance and accounting professionals, computer programmers and other professionals ONLY. We do not cover any warehouse, light industrial or medical at this time.


WHAT BENEFITS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE WORKERS?

Frontline offers a range of benefits and services to the workers. Generally, the cost of benefits is paid by the worker. Available benefits include short and long term health insurance, dental discounts, and vision discounts. Life and other types of insurance are also available. Credit union membership is offered in some states. We do not offer paid time off or vacation time to any workers on payroll status from the client. The client does have the option to pay for holiday and time off if desired.


WHAT ABOUT PLACEMENTS IN STATES OTHER THAN TEXAS?

Frontline can employ workers in every state and in all Canadian provinces except Quebec. As an employer in these locations, it means that we are registered and licensed to do business, withhold and deposit appropriate state and local payroll taxes, insure workers against job site injuries, respond to unemployment claims, and perform other employment related responsibilities. Frontline also becomes responsible for filing annual state corporate tax returns and maintaining compliance with the varying state requirements regarding overtime pay, meal and rest breaks, and all other applicable employment legislation.


HOW DO THE WORKERS GET PAID?

Several payment options are available. Usually, workers are paid by direct deposit which is provided without charge. Sometimes, workers prefer to have paychecks mailed to their home address or mailed elsewhere. For those workers who do not have a conventional bank account, we can establish a special ATM account that can accept direct deposit of their paycheck. They are able to access the money via a debit card provided by the Bank of America.


HOW DOES FRONTLINE CHECK OUR COMPANY CREDIT?

Frontline has several resources available to check client company credit such as Dun & Bradstreet and TRW Experian. All companies are reviewed for annual revenue estimates, number of employees, years in business, and credit rating to determine credit worthiness and recommended credit limits.


HOW LONG AM I COMMITTED TO FRONTLINE SOURCE GROUP?

Our program is designed to offer you maximum flexibility to operate your business. We are a resource to be used if, as, and when needed. We do not require any minimum amount of business and do not require that we be used exclusively as your sole provider of payroll services.
