Explorationist- Deep Water Gulf of Mexico   

Our Clients are seeking highly motivated, goal oriented explorationists to join their teams. The successful individuals will have a broad knowledge of geology, geophysics, and entrepreneurial thinking to develop and lead an exploration program focused on high impact prospect generation in frontier regions of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

We have positions based in Dallas and Houston, Texas.

 Experience Required:

·        A minimum of 7-10 years of exploration geological experience, including significant and current deepwater experience in the Gulf of Mexico

·        Some experience in a functional leadership role is preferred but not required

·        Exceptional skills in geology or geophysics, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation and prospect generation

·        Must be proficient in advanced exploration technology

·        Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

·         A Bachelor’s degree in geophysics or geology is required; Master’s degree preferred

Sr. Geologist

 As a Geologist you will be required to demonstrate the ability to generate high-impact exploration projects. Candidates should be highly motivated and technically excellent, and have a broad-based knowledge of geology.  Successful individual will have well developed interpersonal skills and will have a strong working knowledge of the following: comprehensive geologic mapping, integration of geophysical data, risk analysis, economic evaluations and presentations.   Excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships, both internally and externally.  A degree in Geology and 15 or more years experience is required.

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Our Houston client, an international oil and gas company, is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to join their Deepwater Engineering team.  This is a direct hire opportunity.

Work with staff to create static geological models of deepwater assets

Provide QC for the creation of these geological models

Create robust working Reservoir Simulation models for use in history matching and the prediction of future development potential

Present data for use in corporate business planning

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or other related Engineering degree

10+ years RE experience with a major oil & gas exploration and production company

Extensive Offshore Deepwater RE experience

5+ years of static and dynamic modeling

Thorough knowledge of Petrel and Eclipse

Solid communication and presentation skills
