SUMMARY
Performs general Human Resources support activities and provides assistance in the areas of employment, data management, benefits and performance management. Execution of new hire and termination paperwork and procedures, data entry of employee information. Responsibilities also include recording data, furnishing reports, and responding to employee inquires regarding general Human Resources issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for maintaining the HRIS and related documentation.
  • Support recruitment, performance management, and training.
  • Assists GM and HR Director with executing new hire paperwork and termination paperwork.
  • Assists HR Director with benefits administration.
  • Assists employees with employee relations issues
  • Support management team and works closely with HR Director.
  • Assists in orientation process, reviews orientation checklist with managers, welcomes new employees and assists them in any questions they may have in the employment process, paperwork, or benefits
  • Assures the smooth running of the department by establishing priorities and acting as a source of information, including serving as liaison with external individuals and organizations on department activities and projects.
  • Assists in compiling information and in preparing local headcount reports, job descriptions, org charts and other documents.
  • Handles and maintains confidential materials, including financial and personnel records and files.
  • Attendance tracking
  • Maintains personnel files

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A High School Diploma is required. BS in Human Resources preferred. At least ten years of Human Resources administrative experience is preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Great Plains experience a plus. Must be knowledgeable of general office equipment. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
