GENERAL SUMMARY:

- Strong technical skills in identifying overpayments, coding errors, payment errors, and procedural errors based on using audit guides, industry reference materials including ICD-9, CPT-4, HCPCS, DRGs, APC Groupers, Revenue Codes, Coding software, CMS website, and AMA coding guidelines as well as benefit plan booklets, contracts, payment manuals, etc.

- Some assignments include travel requirements, typically fieldwork assignments range from a few days to a couple weeks, home weekends. Company pays travel expenses including meals, lodging, airfare and ground transportation and sundries. Employees keep frequent flyer miles from business travel.

- Be able to handle production requirements such as reviewing minimum of 100 sets of potential duplicate claims per day, documenting findings and with good quality.

Job Duties:


Will be expected to manage statistical, compliance, and overpayment audit projects where the client is either an insurance company seeking to recoup overpaid claims, a large employer seeking to measure the financial, procedural, and payment accuracy of its benefit administrators, or a government entity contracting for health plan reviews of private payors who bill the government for services provided to their clients (Medicare/Medicaid).

- Will produce audit reports that present audit program procedures, findings, observations, and recommendations, as well as overpaid claims.

- Will handle ongoing overpayment identification, verification and recovery for some of clients in addition to statistical audits.

- Project Managers should be able to function as auditors as well, i.e., have subject matter expertise in benefit plan administration, claims auditing, etc., including the ability to research emerging trends affecting the insurance industry.

Skills Required:


-Writing and communication skills are required to interact with financial auditors, benefit plan administrators, and client contacts who may include mid to senior level managers and executives up to and including CFO's, Directors, etc.

Develop and maintain positive customer service with supervisors and employees through direct contact and effective responses to needs.

Place ads for openings

Receive and sort all resumes.

Set up interviews, coordinating with supervisor’s schedules.

Greet applicants and copy completed applications for supervisors

Enter all applicants interviewed intoGreat Plains (software).

Complete background checks on every applicant.

Maintain file for completed disclosure forms.

Arrange pre-employment drug screen for viable candidates.

Track ethnic origin of applicants for Ethnicity Report.

Every Monday submit Recruitment Report to HR Director.

Schedule and perform New Hire Orientations as follows

Process New Hire paperwork: copy, file and route relevant forms

Complete reference checks on all new employees.

Create and maintain confidential (medical/insurance) files for employees as needed.

Benefits Administration


Audit all insurance bills for United Healthcare and American Fidelity.

Add or terminate employees as needed on both bills.

Maintain binder with copies of insurance bills with any errors/changes.

Work diligently with insurance providers to maintain accuracy of bills.

Responsible for planning Insurance Orientations

Upon completion of enrollment forms, fill out employer information and submit the applications by fax to American Fidelity and enroll all new hires online for United HealthCare.

Maintain a binder of all current enrollees with the original enrollment forms and detail reports from United Healthcare and American Fidelity.

Maintain a Census for all employees eligible for Insurance.

Maintain List of employees who have waived insurance coverage.

Maintain Insurance calendars on a monthly basis of eligible employees.

Maintain a master Eligibility List of all new hires

Enter all employees with insurance coverage into COBRA

Print and distribute COBRA papers to all terminated employees

Miscellaneous Job Duties:


Take calls regarding employment verifications.

Sort mail for Human Resources.

Answer questions from employees pertaining to insurance.

Help with the filing of GAP claims for some employees.

Create news article for the RAM each month.

Various faxing, copying and filing.

Provide scheduled reception relief and coordinate coverage when switchboard operator has an unscheduled absence.

Our client located near DFW Airport is looking for a Technical Recruiter:

Drive the Hospitality Division’s overall recruiting efforts, with specific ownership for Dallas and California office hiring. Ideal candidate will have full life cycle recruiting experience in a high volume (30+ requisition load, 120+ hires per year) and high demand environment, with a proven track record for driving hiring results, preferably within a technology company. In addition to responsibility for hiring through experienced hire and campus channels, the position encompasses branding for client as an employer of choice in the market and evangelizing the client's recruiting methodology across the Division to ensure a rigorous and consistent selection process. Position is an individual contributor reporting to the Director of HR for the Hospitality Division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

§ Recruiting Strategy – serve as an expert advisor to the Division to drive the recruiting strategy, process, and results. Build relationships within the Division and leverage business knowledge and recruiting expertise to support the hiring needs of the business. Collaborate with Division leaders, hiring managers, and HR Team members regarding resource planning and hiring priorities, and interact with these stakeholders as internal customers whose needs must met. Strategize with hiring managers on creative sourcing channels for their requisitions and set expectations up front on time to fill and cost of hire. Own all aspects of the recruiting process – from sourcing and pre-qualifying to onsite visit scheduling and offer formulation and extension to follow-up with candidates after their decision is made.


§ Technical Experience – Must be able to accurately articulate knowledge of the Technical needs of the business to candidates. Knowledge of Engineering programs such as Java, C and SQL is preferred.


§ Requisition Fulfillment – main focus of role is direct ownership for the fulfillment of open requisitions in the Dallas office on a timely and cost effective basis. The average number of open requisitions is 30+.


§ Recruiting Measurement – establish, track and communicate performance measures for the recruiting function to key stakeholders on a regular basis; take action based on trends and feedback to improve results.


§ Communication – regularly communicate status to key stakeholders and take actions to improve results. Exhibit diplomacy and flexibility to optimize results.


§ Business knowledge - develop and maintain an understanding of the client's business and culture, to effectively sell career opportunity for the cleint to candidates.

Recruiting Process - evangelize the client's recruiting process and methodology across the Division to ensure a rigorous and consistent selection process, refining over time based on results. Develop and deliver behavioral interviewing training for those participating in the process. Look for opportunities to simplify and automate the recruiting process. Manage and utilize the company’s Applicant Tracking System and online job board(s) to most efficiently source, track and monitor candidates and to report results in an efficient manner.

Branding – brand the client's as employer of choice in the market, working with others in remote offices as appropriate. Network within local community to raise awareness of career opportunities for the client and strategize creative ways to source passive candidates. Instill the value of networking by hiring managers and leaders.

Referral Program – manage the Employee Referral Program to encourage and reward current employees for referring qualified candidates to the client for employment, refining over time based on results.

Recruiting Budget – work with Director of HR for the Hospitality Division to establish and manage the budget for Divisional recruiting expenses.

Vendor management – build relationships with recruiting agencies, search firms, and independent recruiters whom we may engage to augment the in-house recruiting team to meet business needs. Serve as primary contact for outside vendors, negotiating rates and managing results for the business.

Campus recruiting – as business needs dictate, assist with the development and strategy for sourcing talent from college campuses to meet business needs, leveraging the Corporate HR team as appropriate.

International recruiting – as business needs dictate, participate and/or drive the recruitment strategy for Divisional hiring outside the U.S. Leverage the non-U.S. HR Managers as appropriate to effectively recruit in their local markets. Develop strategy for hiring internationally in select countries to meet growth needs of the business.

Additional projects as assigned based on business need and individual career development.


REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

BA or equivalent education/experience.

Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience with preferably 1 year of Technical recruiting or recruiting for a Technology company.

Candidate should have knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth employment market, strong networking skills, and creative sourcing techniques.

They must have familiarity with the fast pace of recruiting positions in a technology company, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and the seasoning to operate with minimal direction.

Must be able and willing to be very involved in the “process.”

Strong ability to multi-task – must be able to manage a lot of things going on at the same time without letting anything drop.

Very team oriented – collaborative and “roll up your sleeves” approach to work.
