Our Fort Worth client is looking for a Product Manager/ Hardware Solutions Release Manager:

The Hardware Solutions Release Manager is responsible for product strategy and release management to deliver tightly integrated point of sale (POS) and hardware solutions to the hospitality industry. The Release Manager drives efforts to define and assess industry needs and trends, market demand and user requests and requirements to produce solutions that create broad appeal to new and existing customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
§ Work with Product Marketing to develop a strategic roadmap for hardware and software integrated solutions, including competitive analysis
§ Work with Product Marketing to ensure successful launch to all markets including existing user communities, direct clients and channel sales
§ Work with Channel Partners, Direct Customers, and other external vendors to ensure user requirements are captured
§ Work closely with hardware product managers and software product managers to coordinate product design and development activities
§ Assess/document business requirements for new solutions and features for integrated solutions
§ Lead the prototype design effort for new integrated solutions and feature enhancements
§ Validate functional specifications are in line with product vision and user requirements
§ Ensure successful controlled deployment/market ready launch of new hw/sw integrated products
§ Support sales initiatives by providing product overview presentations
§ Work with analysts to produce product documentation/RFI responses as needed to support sales
§ Define and communicate product release content and timing
§ Provide and/or coordinate high-quality training for new products and enhancements to customers, sales teams and other Radiant personnel
§ Provide product expertise and documentation to Radiant technical staff such as the product management analysts, development, support and QA teams
§ Work with Product Marketing and PMA’s to ensure the production of gap analysis and competitor comparison documentation
§ Manage deployment and Market Ready success criteria of new solutions

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
§ A very deep knowledge of the hospitality industry
§ Experience in Aloha products, including expertise in POS, Back Office and/or eServices products
§ Experience with hardware design and deployment
§ Excellent verbal and communication skills
§ Strong interpersonal skills with a heavy background in customer interaction
§ Excellent presentation skills
§ Proven experience in analyzing and documenting user business requirements
§ Solid track record in new solutions and enhancement design and prototyping
§ Proficient in discussing technical concepts with development teams
§ Highly effective in communicating technical concepts to customers and non-technical internal teams such as training and sales
§ Experience in technical documentation
§ Experience in the software lifecycle
§ Process-oriented
§ Experience with people management is desirable
§ Superior time and project management skills
