Our Fort Worth client is looking for a Product Manager/ Hardware Solutions Release Manager:

The Hardware Solutions Release Manager is responsible for product strategy and release management to deliver tightly integrated point of sale (POS) and hardware solutions to the hospitality industry. The Release Manager drives efforts to define and assess industry needs and trends, market demand and user requests and requirements to produce solutions that create broad appeal to new and existing customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
§ Work with Product Marketing to develop a strategic roadmap for hardware and software integrated solutions, including competitive analysis
§ Work with Product Marketing to ensure successful launch to all markets including existing user communities, direct clients and channel sales
§ Work with Channel Partners, Direct Customers, and other external vendors to ensure user requirements are captured
§ Work closely with hardware product managers and software product managers to coordinate product design and development activities
§ Assess/document business requirements for new solutions and features for integrated solutions
§ Lead the prototype design effort for new integrated solutions and feature enhancements
§ Validate functional specifications are in line with product vision and user requirements
§ Ensure successful controlled deployment/market ready launch of new hw/sw integrated products
§ Support sales initiatives by providing product overview presentations
§ Work with analysts to produce product documentation/RFI responses as needed to support sales
§ Define and communicate product release content and timing
§ Provide and/or coordinate high-quality training for new products and enhancements to customers, sales teams and other Radiant personnel
§ Provide product expertise and documentation to Radiant technical staff such as the product management analysts, development, support and QA teams
§ Work with Product Marketing and PMA’s to ensure the production of gap analysis and competitor comparison documentation
§ Manage deployment and Market Ready success criteria of new solutions

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
§ A very deep knowledge of the hospitality industry
§ Experience in Aloha products, including expertise in POS, Back Office and/or eServices products
§ Experience with hardware design and deployment
§ Excellent verbal and communication skills
§ Strong interpersonal skills with a heavy background in customer interaction
§ Excellent presentation skills
§ Proven experience in analyzing and documenting user business requirements
§ Solid track record in new solutions and enhancement design and prototyping
§ Proficient in discussing technical concepts with development teams
§ Highly effective in communicating technical concepts to customers and non-technical internal teams such as training and sales
§ Experience in technical documentation
§ Experience in the software lifecycle
§ Process-oriented
§ Experience with people management is desirable
§ Superior time and project management skills

The position is involved in the production management of internal trading systems for Equities. The position requires close cooperation with many diverse areas of the firm, including business units, software engineering, and network engineering groups. The ideal candidate would be able to balance a quick turnaround on front-office requests while having a long term view of how to improve the resiliency and supportability of our production environment.

Responsibilities

The position is involved in the production management of internal trading systems for Equities. The position requires close cooperation with many diverse areas of the firm, including business units, software engineering, and network engineering groups. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The team is responsible for supporting the firm’s valuation function, including monitoring compliance with the firm’s valuation policies. We work with portfolio managers, in-house data management and systems developers, third-party valuation providers, and auditors.
Upkeep and maintenance of portions of the valuation policy as it relates to private equity like investments
Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits in regards to valuation

They must also perform initial testing and troubleshooting of these programs to ensure accuracy and create documentation for these programs. The Associate ERS Programmer also performs maintenance on existing programs as required by requested changes from the Business Analyst. In their programming role they develop table layouts comprised of data elements from a variety of different data file types, (.TXT, .RPT, .DBF, .XLS, HTML, EBCDIC, etc - fixed and variable-length), and media.

Qualifications:

Senior Tax Manager is needed in Houston....Masters Degree Required!!!

Our Houston, TX Client is looking for a Senior Tax Manager:

Duties and Responsibilities:


- Plan supervise, and complete individual, corporate, and partnership tax engagements.

- Research tax issues and correspond with the IRS.

- Perform departmental administrative functions.

- Supervise, review, train, evaluate and develop staff.- Lead by example.

Qualifications:


- Master’s degree in Accounting.

- CPA with 7-10 years public accounting experience required.

- Excellent written and oral communications skills.

- Leadership skills.

- Knowledgeable of tax laws related to individual and all type business entities.

- Specific industry or technical expertise preferred.

- Ability to delegate work, participate in the training of staff and great supervisory skills.

- Should have a general knowledge about all aspects of federal tax law, but one or two specific technical expertise.

- Prepares various types of tax returns and provides tax related services for clients.
- Analyzes and summarizes tax information into work papers
- Researches and corresponds with the IRS.
- Keeps management abreast of project status and relays any tax related issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters degree a plus.
- CPA or a CPA candidate with 2 – 4 years public accounting experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Knowledgeable of tax laws related to all types of reporting entities and taxing authorities.
- Must have experience with individual, partnership, S-Corp, and C-Corp returns.
- Experience with Prosystem FX, preferred.
