RESPONSIBILITIES OF SENIOR TRAINING CONSULTANT
Responsible for delivering high quality education to Global Services, partners and clients. Including: -" Preparation & Review
assess courseware and customise to educational needso Ensure education materials are accurate and up to date delivery
Class management and course delivery
Post Delivery/
Answers to questions from courses
Follow on specifics from course delegated relating to their role Feeding course improvement suggestions back into the business Review and implement improvements to delivery
Responsible for educational development
Assessing Needs
Interpreting for existing technologies
Reviewing for new / beta technologies
Technical Authoring
When required work as part of the documentation team on the development of new training materials Developing
Devise most effective way to show and demonstrate learning objective
Maintenance and Development Cycle
Curriculum Development (as part of Team) Technology / Products/ Customer Curriculum's Mentor responsibility for other members of the Education team
Promoting multi-skilling and cross functional compliance
Supporting external trainers where business needs drive high demandMaintaining Skill Level
Establish SME depth on all courses delivered
Establish and maintain knowledge in supporting technology areas
Customers / Partners"

Develop a TNA process, with collateral and documentation, which allow Education Sales Specialists to position and sell our client's courses.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education & Experience:
" Typically requires 5 or more years delivering technical training courses in the OSS space."
Long term IT Industry experience, showing a successful track record in an operational role. E.g. Core developer"
Recognized industry qualifications demonstrating an advanced understanding of educational excellence. E.g. Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD)
Technical Knowledge & Skill:
" Solid technical understanding of the OSS domain, Cramer v.5 solution and Telco's IT environment with in depth knowledge of all modules.
OO design/programming, Java, n-tier architecture, PL/SQL
J2EE, XML, JSP and tag libraries, SVG, HTML, Oracle database, SQL is an advantage
Proven Training Needs Analysis experience
In depth knowledge of all modules of the Cramer solution is an advantage
Travel Requirements:
" Large amounts of global travel. Travel may take place at weekends in order to begin training courses on Mondays. Extended working days during course delivery to cover preparation, delivery and post work.
