We have heard and have been watching the job/employment market change over the past 7 months. Some days our clients are in need of temporary staffing and the next day they look for permanent employment. Our concern right now with the job market is finding candidates that are looking for short term temp staffing positions and yet are still open to permanent long term positions with companies. Frontline has a very steady 50/50 ratio of temp vs perm positions currently open but 90% of our candidates are looking for permanent positions. Has anyone noticed more permanent positions then temp positions? What are you hearing from other agencies out there? Are the interviews with the companies or only with the staffing agency? With the July 4th holiday ending we should see an uptick in hiring....what are you seeing? Have you been getting more calls..or just calls that seem to be a waste of your time?

The Staffing Texas website is made up a few other companies and so far is bringing in a lot of candidates. The No Unemployment.com site is set up to help out companies one company at a time. So far we have been listed for a few weeks and it looks like a nice portal for people to find new opportunities. Have you found new ways to locate open jobs? or apply online?
